Branding and packaging design

Campomanes is an extra virgin olive oil from a century-old olive grove located near Mérida, on land ceded by King Carlos III to the Count of Campomanes at the end of the s. XVIII.

We have built design around history and tradition of the family producing the oil, simulating the signature of the first count of Campomanes to design the brand.

For the packaging, continuing with this concept, we designed a handwritten letter where the count himself tells his descendants about the virtues of his olive tree and urges them to continue caring for it over time. We reinforce the family character of the oil by using its coat of arms, which we have redrawn from a stone carving on the estate.

We enrich the design by taking advantage of the packaging material, using matte varnish in some areas and leaving the shine of the tin in others.
